Meet the Team

Susan is from Northwestern Ontario, where she graduated from the Dental Assisting program in Thunder Bay. She took her first position in Fort Frances, where, due to the isolated, was able to experience, every aspect of dentistry. Most specialists where three to four hours away. Trips where made weekly to a satellite office, for the treatment of Indigenous children. After 9 years, Susan returned to Thunder Bay, taking a position with Dental Anesthesiologist. This is where she mastered the tasks of working with nitrous gas, general anesthetic, IV and oral sedation. Sue met her husband, and moved to the Niagara Region and spent the next 20 years, raising her two sons, and was lucky to accept a position with the wonderful Dr. Ron Yarascavitch. Dr. Ron and Sue would take a weekly afternoon trip to the Thorold Detention Center for the emergency treatment of the inmates. Along with Sue’s vast experience, she is thrilled to be learning from Dr. Girardi, new skills, laser, and digital xrays. When Sue is not at the office, you can find her in her favourite place, her kitchen, on the family farm in Pelham cooking, and filling her home with family, friends and food.
